Project Roles take the manual work out of assigning tasks

Anyone who's built out an onboarding template knows the friction: the tasks are the same every time, but the people doing them change with every new customer. Project Roles solve this by letting you assign a placeholder, like Account Manager, CS Rep, or Primary Contact, to tasks inside a template instead of a specific person.

When it's time to kick off a new project, you map real people, whether that's someone on your team or a contact on the customer's side, to those roles. Every task tied to that role gets auto-assigned to the right person automatically. The result is more flexible templates and a lot less manual reassignment every time a new project spins up.

Task Dependencies bring in the workflow logic teams already expect

If you've used tools like Asana or Monday, the idea behind Task Dependencies will feel familiar, and it's now built directly into LaunchBay. You can configure a task, or a group of tasks, that has to be completed before other tasks activate. From there, work waterfalls one step after another, so both your team's work and the customer's steps happen in the right order, every single time.

Apply this dependency logic once inside a template, and every project built from it inherits the same sequencing automatically. Build your onboarding process once, and run it the same way every time after that.
